Eye Sight Exams

FAQ

Common questions

What kind of eye exam do you perform?

We provide eye sight exams for children ages 1 to 4 using Photoscreens.

What is a Photoscreen?

A photoscreen eye exam is a fast, non-invasive vision screening tool—primarily for children aged 6 months to 5 years—that uses a specialized camera to take pictures of a child's eyes from a distance. It detects risks for lazy eye (amblyopia), refractive errors (nearsightedness/farsightedness), and eye misalignment.
